  1. Using Our Website

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes.

You must not:

  • Use our website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website or systems.
  • Introduce viruses, malware or other harmful material.
  • Interfere with the operation or security of our website.
  • Copy or reproduce our website content without permission.
  • Use automated systems to scrape or collect information from our website without our written permission.

We may restrict or suspend access to our website where we reasonably believe these Terms & Conditions have been breached.

  1. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications, availability and prices are accurate.

Product photographs are for illustrative purposes and there may be minor differences in colour, appearance or packaging.

Where a product is supplied with accessories, the product listing will identify the accessories included where relevant.

Manufacturer specifications, compatibility information and other technical information may be provided by the manufacturer or supplier.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.

  1. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

Adding an item to your basket does not guarantee that the product will remain available until your order is completed.

If we are unable to fulfil an order because a product has become unavailable, we will contact you and refund any payment taken for the unavailable product.

  1. Prices

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£), unless otherwise stated.

Where applicable, prices include VAT.

Delivery charges are calculated and displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Changes will not affect an order that we have already accepted, except where an obvious pricing error has occurred.

If a product has been displayed at an obviously incorrect price due to an error, we may contact you before fulfilling the order.

  1. Placing an Order

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products selected.

You will normally receive an automated acknowledgement confirming that we have received your order.

An order is not considered accepted until we confirm acceptance or dispatch the products, as applicable.

We may refuse or cancel an order where:

  • A product is unavailable.
  • There is an obvious pricing or product information error.
  • Payment cannot be authorised.
  • We suspect fraud or unauthorised activity.
  • We reasonably believe an order has been placed in breach of these Terms & Conditions.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid.

  1. Payment

Payment must be made using an accepted payment method displayed at checkout.

You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

Payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider. Your payment may therefore also be subject to that provider's terms and privacy policy.

  1. Delivery

We use Royal Mail for delivery unless another delivery method is specifically stated.

Available delivery options and the applicable delivery charge are calculated and displayed at checkout.

Delivery estimates will be provided at checkout or following your order where applicable.

We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframe stated on the website or at checkout.

Once your order has been dispatched, we may provide tracking information where available.

For consumer purchases, goods remain at our risk until they come into your physical possession or the possession of a person you have identified to receive them, subject to applicable law.

  1. Delivery Delays

We will make reasonable efforts to deliver your order within the stated timeframe.

Delivery may occasionally be delayed because of circumstances outside our reasonable control, including courier delays, severe weather, strikes, transport disruption or other events beyond our control.

Your statutory rights are not affected by delivery delays.

  1. Your Right to Cancel

If you are a consumer purchasing goods online, you generally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason, subject to applicable legal exceptions.

Further information is provided in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

This cancellation right is separate from your rights where goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise do not conform to your statutory rights.

  1. Faulty or Incorrect Goods

If an item is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or does not conform to the contract, please contact us.

Depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.

We may ask for reasonable information, such as photographs or details of the problem, to help us assess your request.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory consumer rights.

  1. Mobile Phones and Electronic Devices

Some mobile phones and other electronic devices may have manufacturer-specific requirements, restrictions or compatibility considerations.

Where relevant, product listings may identify:

  • Storage capacity.
  • Operating system.
  • Regional specifications.
  • Included accessories.
  • Manufacturer warranty information.

We are not responsible for compatibility issues arising because you have not followed manufacturer requirements or product specifications, except where your statutory rights apply.

  1. Manufacturer Warranties

Where a product is supplied with a manufacturer's warranty, the manufacturer's warranty terms may apply in addition to your statutory rights.

A manufacturer's warranty does not replace or reduce your statutory rights against Device Direct.

  1. Printers, Scanners and Ink Cartridges

You are responsible for checking compatibility before purchasing ink cartridges, printers, scanners or related accessories.

Where compatibility information is provided on a product page, it is intended to assist you in selecting the appropriate product.

Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.

  1. Events Outside Our Control

We will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

These may include severe weather, natural disasters, strikes, transport disruption, telecommunications failures, cyber incidents, government action or failures by third-party service providers.

  1. Privacy

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
